A Parents' Guide to Facebook

There is a Facebook guide for parent, which help you how to use Facebook safely. It helps parents to communicate with their young Facebook users effectively.

The guidebook also demonstrates:
- Protect your online reputation
- Use Facebook mobile safely
- and etc.

In my opinion, this is a well approach to help parents to look after their children because some parents (my parents also!) do not even know what Facebook is. Parents can teach and protect their children if they know what is going on and how to conceal the privacy. However, they cannot stop their children to interact with social networks, they can protect them from those pitfall.

The guidebook is available at the link below:

Seriously, nobody really reads user guide because it's too long.

The first step is actually prevention. Until your child has reached a matured age, he/she should be refrained from using Facebook.

However, if the first step fails, parents should take up the responsibility to educate their child on how to use it.
