Intelligent Glasses as a future mobile platform for eMarketing

As announced by Brin on 27 June 2012, Google I/O attendees will be able to pre-order Project Glass developer units (non-retail) for a whopping $1500, and its shippment was predicted to begin at early 2013.
The Project Glass is a smartphone-like format hands-free mobile communication device and could interact with the Internet via natural language voice commands. The operating system software used in the glasses will be Google's Android.
After Google’s announcement, Apple, Microsoft, Olympus and Vuzix also announced their patents or intend of entering in intelligent glasses market later this year.
Although it hasn’t been put into formal sales, and maybe it cannot even be called a market now, it can be surely predicted that it will be a trend in several years (or less time) for intelligent glasses become another mobile platform after smartphone and tablets.
It is really a cool idea to make glasses a mobile platform. Although tablet or smartphone is already rather convenient to take and use, the Intelligent Glasses just needn’t to take!
And the interests showed by other high-tech companies also indicate that this market is promising to develop, therefore, we can indicate that Intelligent Glasses will be accepted by public and become another major mobile platform for eMarketing in a near future.
