Local. Global. Personal.

This week we learned that marketing is value exchange.

Value exchange is a key part of the strategy of succeeding companies. The orientation should be ”the persons”, the customers who are nowadays more difficult group to identify to segments for example by geoprahical, reliogious, culturals aspects because personal needs and boarders in these groups are uniting. People want to  influence, they have the power to influence by online services.

We are living in a global  information economy where innovations are spreading all over the world and digital media has an enormous power, but we should remember the local context and cultural aspects in a business – make it personal.  One generation and its needs as a timeline is a pretty long period. There is a lot of new technology available but when people are  ready for the change, ”e-change”? The main question in eMarketing is ”How do we create the best value to our targeted customers?”

I want to share a video with you which hopefully opens conversation on online world and it's progress. I hope it gives you something to think about as a basics for this course.
