In Week2, we could listen at the lecture of Mr. Mori of Digital River in Guest Speaker session. Digital River is the company which is performing construction, management, etc. of the E-commerce site. I heard the name of the company for the first time, and most classmates also seemed to have heard it for the first time. I strongly think that they should promote more to expand their business in Japan or rest of Asia. Almost all persons exercise caution to buy something from an unfamiliar company.

If you want to buy something, you can find the best price from Kakaku.com. For example, when you want to buy a USB memory, you can find the Internet shop which provides best price product from Kakaku.com. It is markedly cheaper than Yamada Denki (http://www.yamada-denki.jp) which is the biggest retail electronics home appliance shop, because the Internet shops don’t have decorated stores. They have just warehouse. That's why, they can reduce personnel expenses. When I want to purchase something, I often check the specification, design and so on in Yamada Denki, and finally I buy it in the cheapest store which I found in Kakaku.com.
For the Internet shop which makes knockout cheap price sale, and the consumers who want to buy it at a low price, service of Kakaku.com is very useful.
