Technologies Revolution and Human Life

Is our life going to more dependent from technology? Britons first got the term nomophobia (no-mobile-phone-phobia), which causes anxieties when losing the cell phone or its battery died. Sounds not very serious, but this is going to be new disease, by product of technology these days. Some people even taking their phones to their grave, causing some controversies on American media. Most people don't realize how empty they feel without cell phone, it's no laughing matter. Study says nearly half the people checks their e-mail, social networks, such as Facebook or Hi5, or just surf the Internet before breakfast. Is technology taking over basic life? Do we have to own every bit of technology? HD-TV, Blue Ray, Internet and 3G phones became important part of our life. Maybe more important than we think.
