Search Engine Marketing Strategy

Search engines have become extremely influential and powerful in their ability to funnel traffic to websites. They are fast becoming the first stop or go-to place for all information, including where customers go to learn about products and services.

There are 5 simple design characteristics making a site suitable for evaluation when search engines visits ; Page Title, Page Content, How to Find Keywords, Site Navigation, Accessible URLs. However, the most search engine marketing experts agree that the most important element of an individual webpage is the title.

Page title is the key data when search engines list results to a keyword search. The following is major concerns related to the page title.

1.Keywords: Place Keywords in Title
The keywords of title should relate to the page and to the keyword entered in search engines. In addition, keywords should be a string of words or a phrase form rather than single words form.

2. Length: Understand the Length of Page Titles
How long should the title be? It ups on the search engine. However, if the title is too long, some search engines like Google will using repeated dots (...) at the end and this leads to users cannot see the highlighted keywords in response to their search.

3. Phrasing: Title Reflects Page Content but Ease Up on Grammar Rules
Grammar and structure of title are less important when comparing to its importance within the content of the page. Grammar-correct words may take up valuable character space and more valuable keywords but ,somehow, using separator may be a space waster such as a dash " - " taking up three character spaces.

4. Individuality: Different Name for Each Page
Most of website should be considered its own unique place on the web to recognize that search engines can direct customers through a website's main page.
