Spoonkey.com,: the last French innovative eMarketing concept

Good evening dear eMarketing fellows! :-)

I am glad to share with you my first weekly blog posting! Since we are still at the very beginning of this exciting and challenging class, I don’t want to boggle the minds! Then, ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you a very easy but also innovative “eBiz” concept made in France: it’s Spoonkey.com, a fast and free identification system.

The principle is really simple: you sign up on the website and you get a unique key such as ““wizishop10023MrSugaiFishingSalmonsInTheUrasaRiver”. This key will be asked on all the partnered websites (e-business …) in order to sign up in a fast and easy way without filling out the usual long and annoying questionnaires.

Okay regarding the advantages for the consumer…But what about the seller? 3 big advantages: better quality results with regards to the addresses and 100% valid emails! Last but not least, a platform enabling the company to promote new websites, it’s obvious…

Spoonkey.com is currently dealing with 60 big French internet companies and so far, they are experiencing a positive answer rate of around 97%. For information, the membership fees for the sellers are spread out between 100€ (16,500Yens) (for less than 1000 visitors/ year) and 10,000€ (1,652,000Yens) for the biggest clients (+ 1million visitors a month…

The concept is completely new, and will be officially launched on the French market from November… But we can be sure similar ideas are going to emerge everywhere on the Web sphere pretty soon!

Just keep in mind this tricky number: according to the research institute OpinionWays, 44% of Internet users don’t fully complete an online registration questionnaire when they access a new website… As a matter of fact, eBusiness websites lose a lot of potential clients through thos stage… With Spoonkey.com, be warned, it’s going to change!! Purchasing on eBay, iTunes and Skype will soon be a matter of ID name… Good eMarketing ideas are often the easiest ones!
