Co-branded card

Pareto ratio was true for Mobicom corporation (the biggest telecom operator in Mongolia) and Trade and Development Bank (the biggest corporate bank in Mongolia). Both organizations found out that only 20% of their total customers generate over 80% of their total income. TD bank and Mobicom agreed to launch co-branded cards for their customers in cooperation with Visa International. This specific product, which based on bonus scheme, targeted bank's  domestic or international gold, platinum debit and credit cardholders who use Mobicom's service. It was the first and most successful affiliate marketing campaign in Mongolia indeed!

As professor mentioned today, it was difficult to expand this kinds of businesses with other mobile operators since the bank has chosen the Mobicom as its main strategic partner!
