my favorite eMarketing site

"Kakaku.com" is one of my favorite sites relavant to eMarketing not only because of its famous excellent price-comparing functions but also because of its magnetic force that entices many enthusiastic users such as early adopters, experts, or opinion leaders.
I mean this cite not only provides the information of lowest price but also engenders a ton of buzz for miscellaneous products from TV to Sake. (but sorry, Nihon-go only..)

Manotsuru by Obata shuzo (our client) http://kakaku.com/drink/ss_0016_0026/0004/0006/ma_50314/S0000220044/

Those opinions vary from prices to places to products to promotions. I predominantly prefer those sharp constructive views on products. Some of ideas are really stimulating and thought-provoking so that marketers of company can identify either potential needs or future trends in other word acquire some horizons about values users expect. Japanese word of Kakaku means not only price but also value.

I consider this Kakaku.com would be somehow transformable as a kind of inbounding marketing website and could be utilized for the projects of Obata shuzo.

Thanks for good information.

Many people have recommended me www.kakaku.com as another channel for purchase any goods over the internet as it offers various choices of product.
As I have looked through its website few times, I really agreed that it is considered as a preferable website to many people, especially to Japanese or those who can read Japanese.
However, the site could open up its opportunity on the online market by providing English translation as many foreigners in Japan are increasing who would like to buy Japanese products over the internet (e.g. IUJers).

Reference: Change in number of registered foreigners in Japan (although, the reference may not be updated as 2010 - you could still see the trend of increased number)

Considering multi-lingual interface for customers from multi continents is the crucially important thing these days. I think kakaku.com is one of the exception for its target customer is the japanese and ones who live and work in Japan, I think. It's target market is only for Japan too.

FYI, if you want to check the items sell in kakaku.com without knowing any japanese word, you can use the google's translation tool following the link here.

Best way to buy from Kakaku.com is to ask some help from Japanese friend. :)
