Mini Laptops Now Available For Under ¥30,000

I think the future trend that will take eMarketing forward might be the emerging technology such as the smaller labtops which is now available for under ¥30,000. You might agree with me that the cheaper the product get the more people will use it!

So, what is the implication to consumers? I think consumers will be more empowered by the more affordable mobile technology. The mobile and pc industry will be less distinguishable. As a result, wireless technology will be required. Once the wireless network cover sizable area, small laptop can be used as mobile phone through skypes and other VoIP software. Then, we might the the erosion of mobile phones. On the other hands, mobile phone vendor may start to embed more pc power that will allow user to do many thing via mobile.

In conclusion, I think the mobile phone and pc will be the same thing. It will be more powerful and yet affordable for large majority of consumers. It will take eMarketing forward because consumers will be more on the move; thus, stores need to adapt their marketing strategy to capture the changing consumer behavior.

"Mobile users like disabled PC users"
"Mobile devices have a limited screen size and the keypads are small; there are a lot of problems with the interface"

yes i agree your statement that the cheaper the product get more customer. But for me there are still distinguishable between them. Talking about mobile it means wireless tech.built-in as well as and personal computer.

I don’t think that pc and mobile industries will be difficult to distinguish. In somehow, pc and mobile are different in terms of size, public access, price and so on. But mobile and internet technologies will possibly integrate as a common platform. Before reaching that era, technology innovation in the mobile and internet platform will continue.

Normally, market initiators/innovators will lead a new market providing new product and service and they can set the premium price for their new product and service and they can get the first-mover advantage. After some extent of time, it is certain that followers and competitors will imitate such kind of cool product and service by means of ubiquitous technology. And price will more or less down if the creations are really valuable to consumers and quite demanding. This will make consumers afford to buy them.

As a result, numbers of mobile and internet users are going to increase and also new forms of businesses will be emerging. In response of this, all marketing efforts will possibly integrate. There will be more affiliations among businesses to acquire new customers. Currently, there are examples that online retailers and service providers go into affiliate marketing. So, personally I think affiliation and integration will be key marketing techniques in customer acquisition and value proposition in the long run. For sure, mobile consumers can grasp the full of cool things.
