Android - An Open Handset Alliance Project
When I think of "Virus Marketing" or Viral marketing, these two project come in mind. It's the project that spread out by word of mouth like a virus. You can't just stop people from participating due to its $10 Million Prize commitment.

I completely agree with you. Would like you to post some more details about it. In my home country, India, mostly it is used for consumer goods. The pached food industry and the cosmetic industry are among the highest users of this marketing strategy. I will post some more details on this very soon.
