Enhancing quality of life ; impact of Viral Marketing

Bangladesh, a developing country is still suffering from poor quality of life. Social Marketing Company (SMC), one of few private social marketing company really working on this burning isssue with the funding from US Agency for International Development since 1997. They are complementing public sector distribution, expanding produce demand and access, engaging in effective IEC (information, education, communication), and increasing perceived value of contraceptives. Interesting. I had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Yunus (Nobel Peace Prize Winner). He was talking about social entrepreneurship and how this will help reduce poverty by making them empowered. In the future IUJ will probably introduce a specialized Social MBA programme bridging MBA+IDP or E-Biz+IDP (Definitely a 2yr prog).
