UNIQLO

In this week end, my family and I went to my parents home in Yamaguchi prefecture. On the driving way from Yamaguchi airport to my parents home, there is a palatial residence which is UNIQLO president Yanai's it.

When I looked at it, I thought below; Japanese economy has been not good, so UNIQLO has successed? Or, even if Japanese economy had been good, would UNIQLO have successed?

Uniqlo showed tremendous success even during the Lehman crisis, which is very unusual for a Japanese company. I believe Uniqlo is one of the very few Japanese companies that has truly embraced the global markets.
