Recently, local gavarnment and local town have concentrated on their own P.R.
For example, Kagawa prefecture; it is one of the Japanese prefectures which is located in Sikoku area.
The prefecture announced that "Kagawa prefecture" changed name from Kagawa prefecture to "Udon prefecture".
Kagawa prefecture is famous for Udon.
Of course, it is a joke.
But, about New year card for 2012, if you mail it to people who live in Kagawa prefecture, you can use "Udon prefecture" insted of "Kagawa prefecture" in their adress.
Kagawa prefecture and the Ministry of Posts collaborated on this funny project.
I like it.
