Future trend of mind reading technology


   This is my favorite TV program “60 Minutes in CBS News” in U.S. 60 Minutes in 28 June 2009 show us the future of mind reading technology. In this program, some company provides us this technology which took form as MRI scan. That is, at the present time, if we want to be read our mind by the other person, we have to go to specific place where machine established.
   At that time, this technology was not proven. However, according this program, the computer found the place in the brain where that person was thinking. In near future, we would have “mind reading machine” in the shape of more convenient than MRI scan.   
  Actually, many companies are interested in this technology such as Unilever, Intel, McDonalds, P&G, MTV, and BICOM which were client of this company for marketing purpose.
   However, do you want to be read your mind? Personally, I don’t like it and I am very scary, but this is real story. When marketing method which uses mind reading technology would make practicable for marketing purpose, how can we go with this technology and how should marketer use it? As we learned in our class, there are conflicts between privacy and marketing.

wow, mind reading! if this ever flies, aside from marketers, the judiciary will find this useful---crime and corruption will be a thing of the past (its like a high-tech lie detector). but people are crazily inventive so they will probably have some jammer or anti-mind reading device: an opportunity for some marketer who will try to market and sell such item :)
