QR Code technology has been a big success as an advertising tool in Japan, South Korea, and some parts of Europe; yet, it hasn't been implemented in the rest of the World. Any thoughts??

I think QR can be very successful in Japan because the creator of this QR code do not charge any royalty for anyone who wishes to use or develop this technology.
because of that, Japanese mobile telecommunication companies and providers can freely set QR as the extra features in their mobile phone line-up, thus QR get a massive quantity of user.

this massive quantity of user then attract company to market their product in QR code.

I think QR be applied in worldwide if all mobile phone companies or providers set this code as their standard way to read encoded information.

I came to know that QR Code is two dimensional bar code since long time a go. But arriving back in JPN and it is widely used for the URL sharing of the companies in their ads in website.
In my thinking, QR code is somehow like an encryption for many people who do not have QR Code enabled Phone readily. My Question here is "Can we share the ad URL or message simply posting it in the human readable format along with the QR Code?". Wondering till now. I may find the information somewhere while I am in eMarketing Course.

Again, Thank you so much for your topic concerning QR code here in the weblog.

I have some QR Code creation link here.
