Listening to customer

Advertisers said that they understand their consumer. The need of the customer, what they want, when it times, and so on. They track their consumer behavior from the internet, the member card, the credit card etc. They had plenty of data of the consumer and they think that they understand their consumer very well. Actually, they are not. The important thing of consumer point of view is left behind - listening to customer. Of course some advertiser said that they are listening to what consumer said. They provide more service and more supplement things of the products and service, and sometimes they offer bonuses for free. Do they listened their consumer? Watch this show.

Consumers as the markets need conversations, this conversations will build the relationhips between advertiser and consumer and will drive innovation.

Window Mobile 6.5 Is it good?

Earlier this week, Microsoft consolidated its mobile-phone initiatives under the Windows phone brand. The company also introduced three phones with the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and announced an application store.
The upgraded operating system is being used in three phones initially: The HTC Pure from AT&T, the HTC Imagio from Verizon Wireless, and the Samsung Intrepid from Sprint, which will be available on Oct. 11. Microsoft said there may be as many as 30 Windows phones -- i.e., phones driven by Windows Mobile 6.5 -- by the end of this year.
The new operating system is seen by many observers as a stopgap before the release of Windows Mobile 7.0.
With the upgrade from 6.1 to 6.5, the primary features of the Windows Mobile family remain intact, such as the ability to work seamlessly with Windows applications like Microsoft Office and Outlook, according to Sean Westcott, IT administrator for Fairfax, Va.-based construction engineering firm McDonough Bolyard Peck and author of the book Digitally Daunted.

Technology Hype Cycle

Technology is sometimes difficult and takes time to develop, but often other issues, ranging from the development of technical standards, regulations, politics, bureaucracy, and legal issues get in the way and slow its development and its availability for marketable products. Market natures of technology products are different from the traditional market. Therefore, supply and demands of the products depend on the current market technology hype in most cases. Hype (or hyperbole) is a common marketing technique in the information technology industry and other industries as well. This hype technique widely used in technology marketing and understand the market nature (demand and supply) and this hype can be generated both by companies seeking financial investment or gain from their emerging technology. Hence, better understanding of this industry is very difficult without the knowledge of hype cycle since the market is mostly controlled by the hype.

A hype cycle is a graphic representation of the maturity, adoption and business application of specific technologies. The term was coined by Gartner, an analyst/research house based in the United States that provides opinions, advice and data on the global information technology industry . Hype cycle learning video

Magical or just Window Phone?

Dear friends, I would love to share the following info with all of you. Probably many of you have heard about the "Window Phone" right? I was so impressed when I read about the phone on online Mongolian newspapers. And, however it has gotten the brand name, I would name it just "Magical Window Phone"!!

Can you just believe if the phone no need battery, cables but transforms its appearance like the outside weather that when it rains you will see your Window Phone will be changed like your room window, and when it is early morning and foggy outside you will see the exact weather in your phone.
Another thing I must tell you is you even can write messages or draw on the phone which will be shown as sms characters.

However nothing is impossible, I doubt is it possible?!
I would really like to see the phone in real life which will make me believe it.

Attached some pictures for your info.

Harnessing Social media marketing to win in the market

As competition becomes increasingly fierce in a commoditized market, margin shrinks and market share loses. One way to gain comptitive advantage is to deliver value to customers by fully integration with them, instead of conveying information single-directionally. Especially with the development of internet, online community becomes a major arena for companies to communicate with customers mutually, which propels some companies to leverage social media marketin to deliver value to customers
Social media marketing is the term that describes the act of using social networks, online communities, blogs, wikis or any other collaborative Internet form of media for marketing, sales, public relations and customer service. Common social media marketing tools include Twitter, blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube. In the context of Internet marketing, social media refers to a collective group of web properties whose content is primarily published by users, not direct employees of the property.
A recent study by Deloitte, Beeline Labs and the Society for New Communications Research has found that despite the recession, 94% of enterprises continue to invest in online communities & social media. Companies appreciate social networking communities for internal and external communications. But the study also found that the enterprise’s use of communities and social media is not fully harnessed, which leaves great scope for companies to leverage to win out the competition.
The detailed information about the study can be referred to the following web linkage: http://sncr.org/2009/10/07/despite-the-recession-94-percent-of-enterprises-continue-to-invest-in-online-communities-social-media/

Bluezone advertisement concepts

Wow, I just came across a cool way of using mobile bluetooths.
Presently lots of supermarkets around the world have tried and experimenting ways of using this for advertisements and promotional purposes. I was just curious to know more about the potentiality of such systems? Moreover wondering why Japanese supermarkets are not using this approach?
